Legato Vocal Ensemble (LoVE) is a culturally rich and vocally dynamic group led by its primary ensemble based in the United States, with a vibrant extension in The Bahamas that joins for special occasions. Despite differences in geography and culture, the two groups are united by a deep love for God, music, and family—creating a powerful, harmonious sound that transcends borders.
Founded by musical visionary Antonia "Ms. Toni" Wilson, LoVE brings together a diverse array of voices and personalities. Ms. Wilson draws inspiration from this rich mix to compose and arrange stunning original works across a wide range of genres, including classical, gospel, rap, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, soul, and rock. Her creative brilliance shines in her ability to blend these styles seamlessly, giving LoVE a distinctive and genre-defying sound that sets them apart as one of the most versatile vocal ensembles in South Florida.
While the U.S. ensemble forms the core of the group’s musical and creative output, the Bahamian members add their own vibrant energy and cultural depth, collaborating joyfully during concerts and special projects. The mutual respect and excitement between both groups enrich every performance, turning each gathering into a celebration of love and unity through music.
LoVE has performed internationally in Mexico, Spain, and The Bahamas, and has shared the stage with renowned gospel and secular artists including Byron Cage, Earnest Pugh, Cece Winans, Ben Tankard, and Barry Ivan White.
Their discography includes standout collaborations such as No Man's Land featuring Joss Stone and Jeff Beck, and two full-length CD projects—Me & Hymn and The Sower & the Seed Featuring Joss Stone—all composed and arranged by Ms. Wilson. In 2023, their Christmas single If Jesus Was Born in Nassau Town, written by Audrey Florence Dean-Wright and arranged by Ms. Wilson, was nominated for Traditional Song of the Year by the Bahamas Gospel Music Awards.
Most recently, their piece Bahamian Wake Medley by Antonia Wilson & the Legato Vocal Ensemble, featuring Marguerite Samuel, won the award for Outstanding Traditional Recording – Group or Duo at the 2025 Marlin Caribbean Gospel Music Awards.
Looking ahead, LoVE is preparing for an ambitious double CD release featuring both a cappella and fully orchestrated versions of original works and well-loved songs.
More than just an award winning musical group, LoVE is a mission-driven ensemble dedicated to uplifting families, uniting people across cultures, and sharing God’s love through musical excellence and heartfelt service. Their motto—"Learn, Encourage, Give, Affirm, and Teach Others to LoVE" (LEGATO LoVE)—beautifully expresses the heart behind the harmony.

March On Bahamaland, composed by the late Timothy Gibson, debuted on July 10, 1973. Wilson and featuring Legato Vocal Ensemble, presents a thought-provoking view into the progressiveness of a beautiful nation under God's watchful eye, while holding on to the musical and lyrical integrity envisioned by the original composer. When one listens to this acapella rendition, the harmonies symbolize a nation constantly moving while building towards a great end. We hope that Bahamians everywhere are moved by this piece, while holding true to the vision and hope of a better Bahamas and steadily carrying the country hand in hand, "Forward, Upward, Onward, Together.”

The Christmas Holiday season is always a special time. The sights, sounds, and smells are reminiscent of times past, family traditions, and, on occasion, something new and unique. The Christmas Medley, by Antonia Wilson, does just that—it gives us something unique. The blend of songs and the various rhythms and instruments heighten our senses as we try to identify and stay in tune with how well they are placed. You’ll enjoy samples of Christmas Bells Are Ringing, What Child is This, as well as the classic, Oh Holy Night. But listener, beware. This isn’t the 4th grade rendition of a Christmas play. These are well balanced selections that remind us of what a special time this was—the night that Jesus Christ was born.
Although one can only wonder if the night was truly silent, especially when nature performs at their nocturnal amphitheater, we can all agree that the night was indeed holy and exciting in that little town of Bethlehem. Let this medley of songs serve as a “special selection” during your next holiday gathering, a road trip to visit friends and family or simply, an evening at home enjoying the season.
From the woman at the well to Jacob wrestling with the angel and the Centurion who requested healing for his servant, scripture is filled with those who desired an encounter with God. We all have been in need one time or another and asked for but a drop of mercy to fall on us. Yet, even when paralyzed by the vicissitudes of life, we are reminded of God’s promises to never leave nor forsake us.
This fresh arrangement of Pass Me Not, by Antonia Wilson, takes us on a vocal journey with balanced but intricate harmonies and multiple layers of instrumentation that leave listeners lost in a sway of emotion and gratitude. This timeless hymn, now transformed into a jazz themed masterpiece while retaining the depth and meaning of the message, is sure to inspire and remind us that God is but a call away.
We Gather Together is a wonderful toe tapping, finger snapping vocal buffet of melodic sounds that brings us to a happy place allowing us to press pause on the busyness of life and offer thanks for loved ones. Antonia N. Wilson uses a jazzy be-bop big band swing and multi-layered harmonies to paint a picture like an artist on a canvas. Put this song on repeat at your next gathering and watch the reaction in the room. It’s guaranteed to garner some ear-to-ear smiles and head nods.
Listen to this masterful composition arranged by Ms. Antonia N. Wilson, and you will be swept away by its melodies and taken to a humble and peaceful place. Written by Robert Robinson, Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing sheds light on God’s unfailing and merciful love and points to Him as the source of grace and every blessing. Internal battles are real, sometimes causing us to question our faith and lose hope. Yet, it is comforting to know that God seeks to rescue us from danger, binding us with His faithfulness and unwavering love. May this forever be our prayer; “Here's my heart, Lord, take and seal it. Seal it for Thy courts above.”
Grammy and Brit award-winning singer-songwriter Joss Stone debuted Walk with Me, alongside her amazing band, on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Originally penned as a love song, Stone rewrote it to address the “separation and judgement” and “us and them” mentality that manifested with the dual
pandemics of 2020. Background vocals for the official recording were arranged by Antonia N. Wilson and sung by Legato Vocal Ensemble.
No Man’s Land brings together the musical recorded talents of Joss Stone, rock guitarist Jeff Beck, and Legato Vocal Ensemble. Reflecting the highly emotive yet celebratory nature of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal event at the Tower of London, this song honors the brave individuals who have lost their lives at war.
The excitement Behind the Scenes on the set of He's Sweet I Know was nothing sort of extraordinary. Many thanks to the participants from The University of The Bahamas Choir, Tapper and the video crew, as well as members of Legato Vocal Ensemble for giving nothing less than their very best on the set.
